The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Senior Specialist - Data to join their team in Programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.   

As a Senior Specialist - Data with Clean Air Fund you would help to develop and support partners and projects that make air quality data (emissions, concentrations, impact assessments etc.) more open, accessible and actionable for policy makers, campaigners and other key stakeholders. The Senior Specialist – Data will help to deliver the Clean Air Fund’s mission through high quality strategic and operational support to our data team, as well as other core work areas. This includes the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of philanthropic initiatives and programmes, project and grant management, as well as the design and management of partnerships and communication efforts. 

To be successful in this role you will have 

• Experience in project and grant design and management in the intergovernmental, governmental, non-profit or philanthropic sector.
• Experience working on air quality management, monitoring, modelling and/or atmospheric science in a similar role, with some experience that is directly relevant to the data team’s work.
• Experience in networking and building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including directly with experts and decision makers.
• Proven experience in context research, data gathering and analysis.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office programmes, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience of budget tracking and financial reporting.

• Salary & Benefits – Depending on location:
  • In UK £40,000-£47,499 gross per annum
  • In Ghana GHS 235,301 - GHS 300,210 gross per annum
  • In Delhi INR 2,760,528.41 - INR 3,522,052.49 gross per annum
• Type of employment - Permanent, Full time
• Post holders must have the right to work in location they have applied for.
• Hybrid role, there is an expectation of attending the office for at least 50% of the working time.
